Creating KPI from Tasks Group

A Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a company is achieving key business objectives. Organizations use KPIs at multiple levels to evaluate their success at reaching targets. High-level KPIs may focus on the overall performance of the business, while low-level KPIs may focus on processes in departments such as sales, marketing, HR, support and others.

In JobCTRL you can add unique KPI to the KPI list, after that you can use it in the Performance Analysis and Performance Summary reports. This feature can be useful if you want to measure new data using a new operand.

First, you have to go to the “Task groups” menu. You have to add the name, save it, then in the “Details” you can choose that task or tasks, which you would like to see. Now you have a unique number ID between the parentheses, you have to save or remember it to use it!

Now with this ID you can create KPI operand for your KPI. Go to the “KPIs” menu section and scroll down until you arrive to the “Create KPI operands” function.

Note: You have to use “TaskGroupId_” and the ID for the technical name.

Come up with a proper name for your KPI, then add a short description to make it clear to everyone what this indicator is for. When you're done, assign it to the Group and save it.

Once the backup has been made, you can get your analysis using the new KPI in the reports menu
