Jira On-site Configuration

In this section you will learn how to configure the JobCTRL synctool's On-site in Jira

For the setup, you have to install the jobctrl-jira-sync-tool-1.0.0.jar plugin. You can dowload it from here

The JiraSyncTool have to see the Jira Server and the JC Website API and you have to modify the config file:

  • JiraSyncTool_jobCTRLAPI_API - The JC Website API's address
  • WorklogComment - The worktimes uploaded from JC to Jira starts with this text (“From JobCTRL” by default)
  • JiraAuthServer, JiraOAuthClientId, JiraSharedSecret - aren't needed for On-site
  • JiraBaseUrl - The Jira address (something like http://hostname:2990/jira)
  • JiraAppKey - must be com.jobctrl.jira if On-site
  • TimerIntervalInMinutes - 2
  • JcFullSyncInterval - 60
  • JiraWorklogSyncInterval - 180 if Jira synchronises back the worktimes and -1 if not
  • TargetRootProjectId the project id where the Jira tasks found
  • CompanyAuthCode - the API's authentication code
  • IsServerJira - True

After the configuration, install it with the InstallService.bat and you have to start the “JobCTRL-Jira Synchronizer” service manually. After computer restart it will start automatically, you need to start manually only the first time.
