Daily working times
| The expected hours to be spent with tasks is the daily working time. Every time entry is assigned to a task. The users' work time balance calculation is based on this setting too. (If certain type of breaks are considered as part of the work time, then so called “break tasks” can be created and the users can assign their breaks (offline times) to these tasks. At Offline Assignment you can see how these tasks can be created. ) |

Manual work time adjustment
At Default settings menu, you can set the expected daily working times for company level, group level or individual level. Before setting the changes, make sure you have chosen the right user level. From the left toolbar, you can expand company levels with the small plus sign or use the search engine for the adjustment.
By deafult, the expected daily working time is 8 hours, you can make the changes if you press the Show details option.
This menu allows you to easily set the expected daily working time. If an employee's working time changes frequently, ther is an opportunity to set it up by using the table. The table overrides the default working time setting, so it's very important that it's filled in correctly.
For example, if somebody used to work 8 hours per weekdays in january, but from febuary 1st this number changes to 6 hours, this is how you should make the table. This function is usefull, because the Worktime Report will require 40 working hours per week in January and 36 working hours per week from Febuary.
If you feel like the settings are correct, close the working hours window and save the changes.
